COMPATIBILITY RESTORED

Roon 2.73.1 (build 1696) fixes the issue that prevented Roon on macOS 27 from discovering network audio devices and zones. Apple has also released macOS 27.0.1.

1. Update macOS
Open the Apple menu → System Settings → General → Software Update.
Install macOS 27.0.1, then allow the Mac to restart if prompted.

2. Update Roon
Open Roon and make sure Roon and Roon Server are running version 2.73.1 (build 1696). Production installations normally update automatically.

3. Restart everything completely
• Quit the Roon application.
• In the Mac menu bar, click the Roon Server icon and choose “Quit Roon Server”.
• Restart the Mac.
• Start Roon Server first, then open Roon.
• Turn your La Rosita streamer off and back on.
• Wait one or two minutes.

4. Check your devices
In Roon, open Settings → Audio. Your La Rosita streamer should reappear under Roon Ready or network devices.

If the device is still missing
Make sure the Mac and streamer are connected to the same local network, then restart your router. The previously documented Terminal workaround is no longer required in most cases. It remains available as an official fallback if the issue persists.

These steps do not erase your library, favourites, or Roon settings. If necessary, contact La Rosita; we will assist you personally, including free TeamViewer support.
